Canon pixma 560s: suddenly my printer won't print in any color, except black. i have cleaned and deep cleaned heads without any results. the cartridges are all full and ink is coming out of all of them.. Once you replace the color ink cartridge with a canon genuine ink cartridge, the ink level detection function of the printer will be re-enabled. if disabling the ink level detection function does not work, the color ink cartridge will need to be replaced in the printer..
From the issue description, i understand that canon ip4000 pixma printer is not printing colored images in windows 8. i would like you to answer few questions to help us understand the issue better: 1.. When inks do not print correctly, we recommend performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the printer to try and get the ink to print. if the ink still does not print, performing a print head alignment may resolve the issue.. Which i was told do not contain a "chip" as do canon cartrdiges and that may signal to the printer to suppress printing. strange, as i have been using 3rd party cartridges for some time prevbiously without any problem..
